Overview of key objectives from European policy makers including themes around competitiveness, financial stability, and resilience. This session will focus on prudential regulations such as Basel III, settlement efficiency and the move to T+1, as well as key regulatory reporting initiatives such as 10c1 and SFTR.

Home to the second-largest EU economy, and with a considerable presence of both global and domestic financial institutions, France continues to offer fertile ground for growth and innovation. In this panel, senior representatives from across a range of institutions will assess the current landscape – keys drivers, jurisdictional nuances to other European securities finance markets, and how those amongst other things are influencing the broader direction of travel.
